About Us

Rough House Gear was born out of chaos, passion, family, and the kind of energy that only comes from raising a house full of kids.

As parents to five wild, fearless boys — and one amazing older daughter holding her own right alongside them — we spent years searching for clothing that actually felt like our family. Every store looked the same. Tiny trucks. Dinosaurs. Cartoon characters. Lightning bolts slapped across every shirt. Nothing felt authentic to the life we lived or the culture we loved.

We wanted something different.

Something bold.
Something athletic.
Something with grit and personality.
Something inspired by the world we grew up around.

Combat sports have always been part of our home. Boxing and MMA aren’t just hobbies to us — they’re part of our lifestyle, our memories, and our identity as a family. My husband’s passion for fighting culture, training, and combat sports heavily inspired this brand from the very beginning, and living in Las Vegas only deepened that connection even more.

Las Vegas is unlike anywhere else in the world. It’s the home of legendary fight nights, championship boxing, UFC history, and a city built on entertainment, intensity, and larger-than-life personalities. It’s where fighters become icons. It’s where generations of fans gather around TVs and arenas. It’s where our family built our life together.

And it’s where Rough House Gear began.

Our story together started over 10 years ago when my husband and I met while performing on stage for one of the most famous illusionists in history. Las Vegas brought us together, and over the years we built a life, a marriage, and eventually a big, beautiful family here in the city we still call home.

As our boys grew, so did the idea behind Rough House Gear.

We noticed there was almost no baby or toddler clothing that reflected combat sports culture in a stylish, wearable, premium way. We wanted apparel that felt inspired by vintage boxing gyms, old-school fight posters, 90s athletic wear, MMA culture, wrestling mats, hockey rinks, and the rough-and-tumble chaos of little boys being little boys.

Not costumes.
Not cartoon graphics.
Not cheesy slogans.

Real style for the next generation of tough kids.

But another major piece of this brand comes from my Filipino roots.

I am Filipino American, raised by my full blooded Filipino mother who came to America from the Philippines. She eventually raised me as a single mother while holding tightly to our culture, traditions, and family values. Some of my favorite childhood memories were growing up surrounded by loud Filipino family parties, karaoke, food covering every table, cousins running everywhere, and entire rooms gathering around televisions to watch Manny Pacquiao fights.

For Filipino families, boxing wasn’t just entertainment — it was pride. Manny Pacquiao represented heart, resilience, sacrifice, and the belief that someone from humble beginnings could inspire an entire generation. Watching those fights with my family became part of my childhood and part of what shaped the love and respect I have for combat sports today.

That same spirit lives inside Rough House Gear.

This brand is for the future fighters.
The gym babies.
The little boys climbing the furniture.
The toddlers shadowboxing in the living room.
The wrestling-around-before-bed kids.
The families raising strong, confident children with fearless personalities.

Every piece we create is designed with movement, comfort, durability, and style in mind — because we know these kids don’t sit still for long. We want parents to feel excited about dressing their children in clothing that feels elevated, athletic, edgy, and authentic without losing the innocence of childhood.

Rough House Gear is more than clothing to us.

It’s our family story.
It’s Las Vegas fight culture.
It’s Filipino pride.
It’s vintage athletic energy.
It’s chaos, confidence, and childhood all stitched together.

Built in Las Vegas.
Inspired by combat sports.
Made for the next generation.
